The Church opened its doors as a Spiritualist Church in 1955.
It was purpose built, with an additional part, (to the right of the entrance), being added later. It is a fabulous building full of energy and possitivity.
In 2015, the Church became a Registered Charity with no: 1163015.
In relatively recent times the church has had a history of having some notable spiritualists attending, as well as many courses and events, including summer residential courses.
A notable President of the Church for many years was Shirley Chubb, who sadly passed away in 2024.
It had to close during lock-down, and is slowly getting back to normal.
A new committee has been appointed in November 2024, all details to follow including the re-opening of the Church.
In the past year or so, there has been an art exhibition.
Recent redecoration has added greatly to the pleasant and nurturing ambiance of the church.
