About the Church's history

The Church opened its doors as a Spiritualist Church in 1955.

It was purpose built, with an additional part, (to the right of the entrance), being added later.

In 2015, the Church became a Registered Charity with no: 1163015.

In relatively recent times the church has had a history of having some notable spiritualists attending, as well as many courses and events, including summer residential courses.

A notable President of the Church for many years was Shirley Chubb.

It had to close during lock-down, and is slowly getting back to normal.

Presently...

The President is currently Bridget Bond, who also runs the Monday development group,

and offers demonstrations of mediumship at the Church from time to time.

A well attended event recently was fund raising for a young person suffering from cancer.

In the past year, there has been an art exhibition, with some pictures still on the walls and adding to the ambiance of the Church.
